El patio rebrand brings fresh energy to a small town taco shop, highlighting authentic Mexican flavors in a lively, plant-filled space. With handmade tortillas, rich salsas, and vibrant decor, the shop creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that celebrates tradition and community.
The Location
One thing to note about El Patios ambience and location. A small taco shop on a almost forgotten street right out side of Sam Houston State University campus.
The owners like it to feel like you outside on a patio of a loved one eating authentic Mexican food.

I chose an all lowercase title for a warm, welcoming feel, complementing the building’s existing colors to create a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.
To capture the owner’s passion for flavorful food and a lively, welcoming space filled with swings and greenery, I designed a bold orange taco icon paired with a blooming cactus flower symbolizing both authenticity and vibrant energy.

Website rebrand
Currently, they use a one-page introduction and outsource their menu through Table Needs, which creates a disconnect between the brand and its loyal customers. A more integrated approach would enhance the business’s connection and consistency with its audience in one location. For the website rebrand, I incorporated social media links and a streamlined top header with easy access to all pages, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for all ages.
