“Tattoo Culture was a project centered around transforming an existing company’s message into an engaging magazine spread design. I chose Blessed Ink, a tattoo studio located in Huntsville, Texas, near my college. To truly capture the essence of their brand and the art of tattooing, I conducted in-depth interviews with the shop’s artists, gaining insight into their experiences and passion for the craft. I also spoke with friends and acquaintances, exploring the personal stories and meanings behind their tattoos. Through this research, I discovered that tattoos go beyond mere aesthetics and style they represent a rich culture of self-expression, storytelling, and identity.”.
